“There is a corner...
a bigger-than-life corner...
a corner worshipped with such fierce adoration and devotion
that it becomes the King of All Corners, its sparkling glare persuasive and alluring...
the ceaseless and hypnotic march to reach it is paved with permanent and blinding optimism
as
just around The Corner
are dreams and stories of riches and rewards beyond compare.
There is a path...
a fractured path of twists and knobby hills and pebbles and weeds and flowers...
one path carved from sunup to sunset,
with mud puddles and stumble-over roots and astonishing vistas of truth...
where deeply inhaled smells of sea salt and wet earth and lilacs and clover
intermingle in the wide open...
where countless unassuming corners reached and passed by
every day
reveal priceless souvenirs of the passage of living.”

“Some know the love of numerical bliss. Some are drawn to the healing arts. Others experience fascination with scientific reasoning.
We dot the surface of the world with positive and negative contributions to human life, all the while questioning each advance with
integrity, courage, and debate. Knowing we are but a speck in the vast unfathomable realms of space and time, we could content
ourselves to be just that.
But, with each rising of the sun and every fallen blanket of deep night, we ponder and reflect, speculate and deliberate, and let our
primal sensibilities, emotions, and passions surpass our mere existance...

‘Life is full of opportunity and richness if we open our eyes and breathe in the
possibilities each morning. To take a moment to listen to the sounds of a city, to hear
buzzing dragonflies swirl and zoom in a country dusk sky, to watch vertical gray
rain soak the plowed earth, flavors life with unforgettable experiences that one
cannot help but bring into his/her artistic expression. Creativity, at its best, can be a
source of inexplicable joy for the freedom of expression of that which is our
essence. I do not believe I’ll ever be done with my wish list of creative interests..
and that suits me just fine, so long as I continue to live with creativity as a priority.
The journey of life is to be treasured yet devoured and downright used up, each
and every precious second, with the wild passion of heart and soul that seeks
to be heard in all of us.
Sharing our knowledge willingly with each other allows a personal connection as
strong as steel, and everlasting...as fresh as the day it was forged. A genuine
interest in easing the struggles we all face, and with just a kind word, is not easily
forgotten, and our innermost circle is populated with others with whom we feel this
most comfortable bond of assurance and acceptance. The jewels in the crown of
my MassArt years were the friendships I was fortunate to have made, that are strong
and intact this many years later, and the interest and support from family is a treasure thousand fold. I have found that I need to share art experiences, that it’s a lonely world without people to share the excitement and awesomeness of life. And to discover the gift of creativity is to understand that with so much pain and diistress in the world, one can make a considerable difference with his/her passion, radiating outward to others in the world with confidence to
create, learn, share.”
