“ I designed the look and feel of the EXIT41 Quick Serve POS software, which
now can be found across the country in restaurants such as Wendy’s, McDonald’s, Arby’s, Panda Express,
and Back Yard Burgers.
The screens are extremely easy to comprehend and navigate intuitively as seconds
on the clock translates to dollars and cents and to the overall success of a restaurant.
A high employee turnover rate in quick serve restaurants also requires a system that can be
learned in a matter of hours. With these requirements in mind, I created the POS screens with
colorful buttons and backgrounds with a focus on the UI flow with color that made sense visually
and conceptually.
The EXIT41 web application connects a restaurant manager/owner via internet to all the
pertinent updated daily information of each restaurant and provides a quick and easy avenue
to view and edit the up-to-the-minute data on/offsite.
I also created the graphics for an unreleased customer ordering solution which
again had effective and engaging imagery to make self ordering for the customer as simple as possible.”
